About

about the park

Caves Caravan Park is a family friendly holiday destination nestled in the hills of Yallingup, Western Australia in the heart of the Margaret River Wine Region.

Established in the early 1980’s the park and surrounding area hold a lot of history and continue to provide memorable holiday experiences for regular and new customers all year round.

Yallingup is known as the birth place of Surfing in Western Australia and Caves Caravan Park has always been a second home for salty surfers.

With the region now placed as a world famous food and wine hot spot, we’ve also become a base for families and groups to explore the 200+ wineries on our doorstep, not to mention the breweries and restaurants. Did someone say wine tour?

If waves or wine aren’t for you the Park is also a nature lovers paradise. Backing on to the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park and the Cape to Cape walk trail you’re able to step out of your tent and into our quiet surrounds. Did we mentioned we’re a 15 minute walk away from the iconic Nilgi Cave?

So what does a typical day look like: wake up to the sounds of the bush, grab a coffee across the road at the General Store, stroll down to the beach, explore the Margaret River wine region and finish it all off by the fire in our new camp kitchen. Don’t forget your torch for night time possum spotting.
